    The Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed on Thursday at 490.95 points, inching down 0.88% or 4.38 points. The general index fell 0.72% or 1.91 points to 262.23 points. 
   
 
   
Trading volume reached 572.19 THD shares, at a turnover of $2.39 million, traded through 172 transactions by 13 companies, of which three gained, three dropped and seven remained unchanged.
 
   
On the sectors level, the industry, the insurance and the services indices gained 0.05%, 0.19%, and 0.03% respectively, whereas the banking and financial, and the investment indices dropped 0.38% and 3.70% respectively.
 
   
The top three gainers were: Al Wataniah Towers Co by 4.71%, National Insurance Co by 1.61% and Jerusalem Cigarette Co by 1.2%. While, the top three decliners were: Palestine Development and Investment by 6.06%, Ahleia Insurance Group by 5.88%, and Bank of Palestine by 0.71%.
